President Bush Addresses The United Nations General Assembly

Shrub is pitching International Socialism.  I will highlight portions of excerpts from his speech, and respond to them.

When innocent people are trapped in a life of murder and fear, the Declaration is not being upheld. When millions of children starve to death or perish from a mosquito bite, we’re not doing our duty in the world. When whole societies are cut off from the prosperity of the global economy, we’re all worse off. Changing these underlying conditions is what the Declaration calls the work of “larger freedom” — and it must be the work of every nation in this assembly.

This great institution must work for great purposes — to free people from tyranny and violence, hunger and disease, illiteracy and ignorance, and poverty and despair. Every member of the United Nations must join in this mission of liberation. 

“innocent people are trapped in a life of murder and fear”:  Darfur, for example. Recently applicable to Aceh. Always applicable to Israel & Lebanon. Ample evidence of failure to enforce the Universal Declaration of Human Rights against Islam. Oh, Islam does not violate the UDHR? “millions of children starve to death or perish from a mosquito bite”: Shrub seems to think that the U.N. must save those children; that you must pay for it.  Every right carries with it an equal and opposite obligation.  If I have a right to life, you have an obligation not to kill me. If I have a right to food and mosquito netting, you have an obligation to provide it.

“whole societies are cut off from the prosperity of the global economy”:  Economic development; translation: industrialization/commercialization. Implication: larger markets. Reality: more competition for our jobs and products; more loot for corrupt dictators.

“Every member of the United Nations must join in this mission of liberation. “: Yeah, right. Communist China, Russia & the various Istans are gonna liberate people from  tyranny & violence, ignorance & despair. Sure they will,  when cancer cures itself!

First, the mission of the United Nations requires liberating people from tyranny and violence. The first article of the Universal Declaration begins, “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.” The truth is denied by terrorists and extremists who kill the innocent with the aim of imposing their hateful vision on humanity. The followers of this violent ideology are a threat to civilized people everywhere. All civilized nations must work together to stop them — by sharing intelligence about their networks, and choking their — off their finances, and bringing to justice their operatives.

In the long run, the best way to defeat extremists is to defeat their dark ideology with a more hopeful vision — the vision of liberty that founded this body. The United States salutes the nations that have recently taken strides toward liberty — including Ukraine and Georgia and Kyrgyzstan and Mauritania and Liberia, Sierra Leone and Morocco. The Palestinian Territories have moderate leaders, mainstream leaders that are working to build free institutions that fight terror, and enforce the law, and respond to the needs of their people. The international community must support these leaders, so that we can advance the vision of two democratic states, Israel and Palestine, living side-by-side in peace and security.

 Brave citizens in Lebanon and Afghanistan and Iraq have made the choice for democracy — yet the extremists have responded by targeting them for murder. This is not a show of strength — it is evidence of fear. And the extremists are doing everything in their power to bring down these young democracies. The people of Lebanon and Afghanistan and Iraq have asked for our help. And every civilized nation has a responsibility to stand with them.

“liberating people from tyranny and violence”: When & where did the U.N. liberate anyone from the Tyranny of Communism or the tin horn dictators of Africa & Latin America?  When & where has the U.N. acted in a timely  & effective manner to end violence? When & where have  the blue hats served any function other than human shields for aggressors?

    “equal in dignity and rights“: Muhammad said:  “And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.”  Do Christians living in Egypt, Iran or Saudi Arabia enjoy equal dignity & rights to their Muslim overloards?   What, exactly has the Human Rights Council done about Dhimmitude?

Terrorists? Extremists? Who, Mr. President?  Extreme what?  What distinguishes them Muhammad, who bragged about being made victorious by terror? Exactly what is their “hateful vision”?  Why don’t you name it and list its tenets?

“this violent ideology“: Its Islam, Mr. President; standard, off the shelf,  Qur’anic Islam as preached & exemplified by Muhammad. Why in the God damn Hell won’t you tell it as it is; call it by its name????????????????

“defeat their dark ideology“: What ideology, Mr. President? Why don’t you list the tenets & doctrines; sacraments & rituals which make Islam inimical to human life & liberty???

“the vision of liberty that founded this body“:  The vision of liberty that founded the United States of America, Mr. President; the founders of the United Nations were blind men.  They created a faulty institution which has become corrupt & counter productive.  Life, liberty, equality  ownership of property & the pursuit of happiness; feeedom & independence, not Socialism.  The right to worship what, when & how one wishes or to be agnostic or atheist; not compulsory Islam nor atheism.   Islam denies the right to worship as you choose. Only Allah has the right to be worshiped.  …Whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him.

“The Palestinian Territories have moderate leaders, mainstream leaders that are working to build free institutions that fight terror“:  God damn lies!!!

• “Palestine” is a name, imposed by Rome, upon  Israel after the suppression of  a rebellion against tyranny. Anything “Palestinian” is rightfully Israelie.
• Islam is not moderate. There is neither radical, moderate nor extreme Islam. There is only Islam.
  • 9:29 Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

    Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
  • The Abbas regime names schools, summer camps & soccer tournaments in honor of Splodydopes who murder Jews and Americans.  He gives American supplied rifles and ammunition to terrorists for use against Israel.  When has he ever acted to prevent or reduce terror attacks against Israel?   You desecrate the White House by inviting that God damn thing to visit!!!
  • Mainstream? Thats the only truth in the sentence! Abbas is a mainstream Muslim. Terrorism is in the mainstream of Islam. Thats what Islam is; what Islam does.

“two democratic states, Israel and Palestine, living side-by-side in peace and security”:  Nobody can be so stupid! Can a man live without a brain?  The PLO and HAMAS are dedicated and devoted to the destruction of Isarael; to genocide and policide. They will not be satisfied with anything less.  No Muslim can be satisfied by anything less!  Israel, by existing in territory conquered by Islam, proves Allah to be an impotent idol.

• 8:65 O Prophet (Muhammad)! Urge the believers to fight. If there are twenty steadfast persons amongst you, they will overcome two hundred, and if there be a hundred steadfast persons they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are people who do not understand.
• What happened in 1948, ’56, ’64 & ’72???  How do you square that with Allah’s promise? 
• Muslim Book 041, Number 6985:

There is no two state solution; only a one state / one people solution: Israel!!!  Israel without Islam!  A world without Islam can be at peace. With Islam, there can never be peace!

• 8:39 And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.

• 2:216  Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.
• 9:111 Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success .

“Brave citizens in Lebanon and Afghanistan and Iraq have made the choice for democracy”: Democracy is more than the formal process of voting.  Democracy involves legislation arrived at by concensus & compromise and enforced impartially. Islam allows only one law: Sharia, which is derived from the Qur’an & Hadith. Man made legislation is blasphemy because it deprives Allah of his absolute right to rule. To have Democracy, you must eliminate Islam!

• 33:36. It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.
