When a Demorat asshole cmte. chairman sits on important legislation, preventing it from coming to a vote, there is only one recourse, a Discharge Petition. IF the petition is signed by 218 Representatives, the bill is sent to the floor for a vote.

The complete list of Discharge Petitions is at http://clerk.house.gov/legislative/legvotes.html. The following subset of that list is critical to solving the fuel cost problem. Click the Discharge Petition No. to check the list for your Representative’s name. If your representative has not signed these petitions, go to http://www.congress.org and send him or her an email urging prompt action. If he or she has signed, send a note of thanks for doing the right thing.
