It is time to contact your Congressmen and Senators again. The Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR) is starting to lobby Congress for special considerations for the Muslim community.

STEP ONE:

Send emails and faxes, starting today and continuing through the weekend, to your Member of Congress and two Senators asking that they not meet with CAIR given that the FBI has severed contacts with CAIR. Include the story below in your emails and faxes. (Click here to find contact information for your Member of Congress and Senators).

STEP TWO:

On Monday or Tuesday place a follow-up call to your Member of Congress and two Senators. Ask to speak to their Defense or National Security Legislative Assistant (LA). When you have the LA on the phone, ask (1) if they got your email or fax and the article; (2) if they read it; (3) if the Member of Congress or Senator is aware of the issue. If the LA has not seen or read the email or fax, send it again if necessary.

If you don’t reach the LA, leave a message and phone number, and if you don’t hear back by the next day, call again!

LET’S SEND A RESPECTFUL, CLEAR MESSAGE TO CONGRESS: THE FBI HAS CUT OFF CONTACT TO CAIR DUE TO ITS TIES TO HAMAS. CAIR WAS AN UNINDICTED CO-CONSPIRATOR IN THE HOLY LAND FOUNDATION TRIAL. MEMBERS OF CONGRESS SHOULD NOT MEET WITH CAIR.

FBI Cuts Off CAIR Over Hamas Questions

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has cut off contacts with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) amid mounting concern about the Muslim advocacy group’s roots in a Hamas-support network, the Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned.

The decision to end contacts with CAIR was made quietly last summer as federal prosecutors prepared for a second trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), an Islamic charity accused of providing money and political support to the terrorist group Hamas, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

CAIR and its chairman emeritus, Omar Ahmad, were named un-indicted co-conspirators in the HLF case. Both Ahmad and CAIR’s current national executive director, Nihad Awad, were revealed on government wiretaps as having been active participants in early Hamas-related organizational meetings in the United States. During testimony, FBI agent Lara Burns described CAIR as a front organization.

Hamas is a US-designated foreign terrorist organization, and it’s been illegal since 1995 to provide support to it within the United States.

The decision to end contacts with CAIR is a significant policy change for the FBI. For years, the FBI worked with the national organization and its state chapters to address Muslim community concerns about the potential for hate crimes and other civil liberty violations in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

But critics said the FBI improperly conferred legitimacy on CAIR by meeting with its officials, even as its own investigative files contained evidence of CAIR leaders’ ties to Hamas.

Last autumn, FBI field offices began notifying state CAIR chapters that bureau officials could no longer meet with them until CAIR’s national leadership in Washington had addressed issues raised by the HLF trial, according to people with knowledge of the notifications.

CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper declined to comment Wednesday when the IPT called for comment. Before hanging up, Hooper said “We’re more than happy to cooperate with legitimate media. But we don’t cooperate with those who promote anti-Muslim bigotry.”

In one letter obtained by IPT News, James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Oklahoma City field office, canceled a meeting of the local Muslim Community Outreach Program, a state-federal program designed to enlist Muslims in terrorism prevention and investigate reports of civil liberties violations.

“Regrettably, due to circumstances beyond my control, the meeting will be postponed until further notice as a result of the planned participation by the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations,” Finch’s Oct. 8, 2008 letter to Muslim groups in the Oklahoma outreach program said.

Finch made clear the Oklahoma office valued its relationship with local Muslims. He said the stumbling block to further outreach was CAIR’s national leadership.

“[I]f CAIR wishes to pursue an outreach relationship with the FBI, certain issues must be addressed to the satisfaction of the FBI. Unfortunately, these issues cannot be addressed at the local level and must be addressed by the CAIR National Office in Washington, D.C.,” the letter said.

A spokesman for the FBI’s Oklahoma City office referred questions about the letter to the FBI’s national press office. In Washington, FBI spokesman John Miller said, “We’ve certainly been in contact with CAIR chapters” about the un-indicted co-conspirator designation. “The letter speaks for itself.”

Letters with similar wording were sent in other states, people with knowledge of the matter said. It is not known how many letters were issued, but the FBI has had strong working relationships with CAIR chapters in states including Ohio, Michigan, Arizona and Florida.

Hamas was formed in 1987 as the Palestinian wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, the global Islamic political movement that aims to spread the rule of Shariah, or Islamic law, throughout the world.

A North American branch of the Brotherhood supervised HLF, CAIR and other organizations to build political, financial and public relations support for Hamas, evidence at the HLF trial showed.

The U.S.-based Brotherhood formed a Palestine Committee, headed by Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzook, in 1988 during the first intifada uprising in Palestinian territories against Israel. Hamas’s stated policy is for the destruction of Israel.

CAIR co-founders Ahmad and Awad were early active members of the Palestine Committee, evidence showed. Wiretaps recorded the two CAIR leaders participating in strategy meetings of the committee in the 1990s, and both were also on a phone list of its members, the evidence showed.

The first HLF trial in Texas ended in a mistrial in October 2007. In November 2008, the second trial resulted in convictions of five former HLF officials on all counts of providing material support to Hamas.

It is unclear what changed between the first and second HLF trials to make the FBI rescind its policy of outreach to CAIR. The un-indicted co-conspirator designations were made on May 27, 2007 in connection with the first HLF trial. Moreover, much of the evidence linking the CAIR officials to Hamas was aired in an earlier public trial in 2006.

CAIR, however, vigorously challenged the un-indicted co-conspirator designation as a violation of its First and Fifth Amendment rights, accusing the government of “demonization of all things Muslim” in a brief filed in the summer of 2007 with the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The co-conspirator designation is “particularly insidious and ironic as CAIR is an organization dedicated to fostering acceptance of Muslims in American society and protecting the civil liberties of all Muslim Americans,” CAIR’s brief read.

The government filed a brief on Sept. 4, 2007 opposing CAIR’s filing, arguing the group lacked standing to challenge the co-conspirator designation and that the matter was moot, as the evidence was already entered into the public record. The judge never ruled on CAIR’s request.

The HLF trial showed that CAIR was formed to covertly influence US opinions of the Palestinian conflict and Islam, but without revealing its connections to Hamas.

Tyson Foods gave Labor Day back to the Laborers today and Islam’s jihad on the traditional American lifestyle took a significant hit.

Ibrahim Hooper, Council on American Islamic Relation’s (CAIR) National Communications Director, says Tyson Food’s reinstatement of Labor Day as a paid holiday at their Shelbyville, TN plant, is

…the result of the backlash from anti-Muslim hate (Web) sites and Islamophobes on the Internet…”

This unsourced quote from the same Seattle Times article shows how deeply the Islamification of American life has embedded itself in our daily lives:

Requests for workplace accommodations of Muslim religious obligations have become common around the country, say Muslim advocates.

This is a broad failure for CAIR. It will not be easy to hi-jack another American tradition.

Shelbyville, Tennessee’s mayor, along with some elected state officials, made this statement in a letter:

For over a hundred years, Labor Day has stood as a symbol to honor the working men and women of this country. But for the past few years traditions like Labor Day have been under attack. This time it’s gone too far and we, as patriotic Americans, must draw our line in the sand,” the letter said states.

As far as “anti-Muslim hate web sites” being credited for this failure, I’m pleased to take my portion of the credit, and CAIR can call us what they will, but for me, I am against the Islamification of all things in America: no prayer rugs, no special prayer rooms, no foot baths, no Islamic prayers in schools, no directions to Mecca. A Muslim’s right to pray on company time or in a public facility is no more important than my right. I have no right to visible prayer in any of those arenas.

Remember US Airways and the “flying imams?” The six clerics alarmed airport workers, US Airways passengers and crew with their “suspicious” behavior, and were removed from the flight before take-off.

One of the clerics was Omar Shahin. From The Wall Street Opinion Journal:

From 2000 to 2003, he headed the Islamic Center of Tucson, which terrorism expert Rita Katz described in the Washington Post as holding “basically the first cell of al Qaeda in the United States.

What was the suspicious behavior:

Some prayed loudly in the gate area, spoke angrily about the U.S. and Saddam, switched seats and unnecessarily requested seat belt extenders with heavy buckles that could be used as weapons, according to witnesses.

America’s first Muslim Congressman, Keith Ellison (D-MN), who took his oath to office on the Koran, said the imam’s situation reflects a misunderstanding of Muslim prayer and will be sorted out in court. The airport is in Ellison’s district:

While some constituents have understood the fears of the passenger who reported the clerics’ prayers as suspicious activity, many more have expressed shock and surprise at what they perceive as discrimination,” Ellison wrote.

Well, maybe but Katherine Kersten, writing for the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported:

So far, Minnesotans have said a resolute “no” to Muslim activists’ agenda; in an informal Star Tribune poll, 92% of respondents blamed the imams’ own behavior for their airport detention.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) spokesman, Patrick Hogan told Ms. Kersten:

…there is a sense that we’ve seen just the opening skirmishes. As MAC spokesman Patrick Hogan put it, “I think people are afraid there will be a chapter two.”

Exactly, and chapter two, three, four and on and on are happening all over America. Tyson Foods’ disregard for America’s beloved holidays is but one more example of bowing to the Islamification of all things, but America won this one too.

Increasingly, Americans are drawing a line in the sand. We will win this battle when we draw the line at our borders.

In Your Eye, CAIR!!!

I learned this morning, at Sons Of Apes And Pigs, that CAIR spokesmen made some interesting remarks about the Obama campaign. I looked up the source, and bring you some excerpts. Note that Ibn Misr has a different take on Obama’s recital and admiration of the Adhan. Ibn Misr describes the Adhan as an insult to Christians. His article is long, but very much worth reading.

All men are created equal, with unalienable rights, implying the absence of divine mandate to rule. Moe said something very different, which is Islamic doctrine to be observed carefully.

It has been narrarted on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: People are subservient to the Quraish: the Muslims among them being subservient to the Muslims among them, and the disbelievers among the people being subservient to the disbelievers among them.

Sahih Muslim Book 020, Number 4476:

It has been narrated on the authority of ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: The Caliphate will remain among the Quraish even if only two persons are left (on the earth),

Moe’s tribe is dominant, and the Caliph must be a member of it. That doctrine is not compatible with the principles upon which this nation is founded. But there’s more.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Verse:–“You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind.” means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam.

Death & damnation be upon the tongue which uttered those cursed words! It is impossible for a lover of liberty to read them without execration. How can he vote for one who knows of those words without abjuring them and renouncing the one who pronounced them? Why should we elect one who seeks our enslavement?

We have the right to life & liberty, but not according to Moe.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.”

Moe is ordered to fight us until we recite shehada, until we do, our blood is not sacred to Muslims. So much for dignity & equality! Why in Hell would any lover of liberty vote for a person who worships the Goddamn demon who ordered Moe to make war on us? As I live, by Jehovah, no damned Muslim will be my master, nor will I be a slave!!! On this I stand firm, and my resolve will not be reduced.

It goes against all that I advocate that the mere rumor of a person being a Muslim — let alone actually being one — could be a tool to destroy political aspirations. This in a nation that prides itself on being the heart of the free world.

Given the command & promise, above quoted as issued to Muslims, none having any pride in this nation would ever consider electing a slave of the demon to serve in high office. Certainly those who elected a Muslim to the Congress must be unaware of the damnable doctrines enshrined in the Qur’an & exemplified in Moe’s Sunnah.

If elected president, how would he deal with one of the most important civil rights questions of his generation? Would he turn a blind eye to the current climate of exclusionary fear-mongering, or would he take a stance against religious prejudice and bigotry?

That ambiguous statement is a thinly veiled demand for censorship; to outlaw writings such as this which expose the damnable doctrines of Islam to public view and warn of the existential threat it poses to life and liberty. This is a stand against ‘religious’ prejudice, bigotry & intolerance which are prominent attributes of Moe’s demon: Allah. Examine what Allah said about Jews & Christians.

3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

Muslims are in no position to complain of bigotry nor intolerance, which are hallmarks of their damnable murder cult.

Let’s face it, those who hatched the Muslim Obama rumors would not have bothered had it not been for a political and cultural environment in which demonizing and marginalizing Muslims generally goes by uncontested.

Who demonized Muslims but those who subducted them into Hell’s legion of murdering demons? It is only enslavement by Allah that makes them demons.

Obama’s knowledge of Islam should count as added experience and not as a statement about his identity.

What does Senator Obama know about Islam? He says that he was never a practicing Muslim. What did he learn in two years of Qur’an classes? Does he know about the ayat above cited? Does he know about the ahadith above cited? If so, why does he not denounce them? Why does he not speak out against Islam’s demonic imperative to conquer and subjugate the entire world?

I am not drawn to Obama for any other reason but his political outlook, one that brings me hope that we can move beyond divisiveness and polarization and toward a new unity for the common good.

What member of the Democrat party shuns divisiveness & polarization? You expressed a thinly veiled hope that a President Obama would violate our first amendment right to free expression by censoring criticism of Islam. Is that not polarizing?

So it is not that I am offended as a Muslim that Obama would not want to be one; I couldn’t care less. I am casting a vote for the next president of the United States, not the next imam of my mosque.

You couldn’t care less about an egregious violation of Allah’s Sharia? If Senator Obama has accepted Christ’s free offer of salvation, then he is a murtad who must be shunned…

I Am JANE DOE–Letter to CAIR

I just reviewed the October, 2006 video of Neal Boortz telling it like it is to one of you islam scum. LONG LIVE NEAL BOORTZ!

Islam is NOTHING BUT A CULT that perverted Christianity, worships a misogynistic child molester, kidnapper, rapist and murderer.

MY GOD is the TRUE God and I truly pity you when you all go to the very hell you’ve earned for your crimes.

As a CATHOLIC WOMAN, I am a supporter of the John Doe law, knowing your imam’s actions were designed to instigate just such an outcry and dissension in Congress. However, whether or not the law is ultimately successful in Congress, know this–I don’t give a damn if I’m sued–I WILL report any suspicious activity of any of your insane followers.

And, yes, in case you can’t tell, I’m a complete and total islamophobe. I hang MY country’s flag where all the muslims in my neighborhood can see it and I fly it daily. You DESERVE to be profiled for your actions and your exhortations to your insane, maggot-riddled, brain dead cultic following. And I fully support such racial and religious profiling.

You will not initmidate me. You may kill me–but I will die with freedom in my heart and Jesus’ name on my lips.

You will not tell me what to wear, what I can drive, where I can travel, what I can speak, how I shall worship, how I support my family. Very simply–for all your pompous pronouncements of what you’re going to do to the United States, the greatest country in the world, I’m telling YOU I will not submit and you WILL NOT tell me what to do.

While I doubt that the Moslem world is much influenced by whatever Westerners say, new terms of denigration for Islamofascism are always welcome (first seen at Never Yet Melted):

We cannot win wide-spread support throughout the Muslim world if we use terms that, to them, define the behavior of our enemies as moral. Because the Global War on Terrorism—or more precisely the war against Islamic totalitarian terrorism—includes a war of ideas, leaders, journalists, authors and speakers must use the most accurate terms to describe those ideas. . . .

Many of these terms will be unfamiliar to Westerners, but not to most Muslim audiences. Only those who actively, passively or even unwittingly [emphasis in original] support al-Qa’ida’s (and similar groups’) professed goals would find the terms, and their use by non-Muslims, offensive. .

Hirabah: this word, which is derived from the Arabic root which refers to war or combat, means sinful warfare, warfare contrary to Islamic law. There is ample legal justification for applying this term to Islamic totalitarian terrorists and no moral ambiguity in its connotation. We should describe the Islamic totalitarian movement as the global hirabah, not the global jihad [footnote omitted].

Mufsid (moofsid): this word refers to an evil or corrupt person; the plural is mufsidun. We call our enemies mufsidun, not jihadis, for two reasons. Again, there is no moral ambiguity and the specific denotation of corruption carries enormous weight in most of the Islamic world.

Fitna/fattan: fitna literally means temptation or trial, but has come to refer to discord and strife among Muslims; a fattan is a tempter or subversive. Applying these terms to our enemies and their works condemns their current activities as divisive and harmful [footnote omitted]. It also identifies them with movements and individuals in Islamic history with negative reputations such as the assassins of the Caliph ‘Uthman in 656, who created the first fissure in the political unity of the Muslim community.

Totalitarian: calling our enemies totalitarian serves several purposes. There is no such thing as a benign totalitarianism. Totalitarianism is a Western invention and it appeared in the Islamic world as a result of Western influence (first fascist, then Marxist-Leninist). It is also in direct contrast to the idea that the enemy would actually establish a caliphate [a term with positive connotations for Moslems] if they defeat the United States, our allies and coalition partners.

I’ll be interested to observe the reaction of CAIR and its ilk if opponents of Islamic extremism start writing about hirabah, mufsidun and fattan.

To reiterate: “Only those who actively, passively or even unwittingly support al-Qa’ida’s (and similar groups’) professed goals would find the terms, and their use by non-Muslims, offensive.”

Boxer Rescinds CAIR Recipient Award: Open TB Weekend

According to Newsweek, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA), recalled an award she had given to Sacramento activist Basim Elkarra “after learning that he serves as an official with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). After directing her staff to look into CAIR, Boxer “expressed concern” about some past statements and actions by the group, as well as assertions by some law enforcement officials that it “gives aid to international terrorist groups,” according to Natalie Ravitz, the senator’s press spokeswoman.”

No More Border Watch – Mexico 2nd Happiest Country in the World!

The Texas Border Watch Test Site is now closed.

It’s a good bet that it won’t open again if fibbing Perry gets his way! Looks like Gov. Rick Perry is now saying that a border fence is a “preposterous” idea – exactly a month after he was re-elected by the dim wits that bought into his “stronger border” ads!!!

In U.S., fear and distrust of Muslims runs deep (Ya think???)

“POLLS SHOW WIDESPREAD ANTI-MUSLIM SENTIMENT
Those in agreement are not a fringe minority: A Gallup poll this summer of more than 1,000 Americans showed that 39 percent were in favor of requiring Muslims in the United States, including American citizens, to carry special identification.
Roughly a quarter of those polled said they would not want to live next door to a Muslim and a third thought that Muslims in the United States sympathized with al Qaeda, the extremist group behind the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington.
A poll carried out by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an advocacy group, found that for one in three Americans, the word Islam triggers negative connotations such as “war,” “hatred” and “terrorist.” The war in Iraq has contributed to such perceptions.”

It is interesting to note that the Reuters spin doctors failed to mention anything of criticism about CAIR. They just slipped by the fact that CAIR has supported Islamic terrorist organizations!

Why You Can’t Have an Intelligent Conversation With Loose Bolts (Leftist Loonies)

I thought you might find this utterly contradictory argument by BC Politics amusing, if not so tragically absurd. The author, Dave Nalle, attempts to give us all some “Basic Facts on Illegal Immigration.” The correct title should be “Basic Leftist Propagandized Talking Points for Blanket Amnesty.”

Here’s an excerpt. Please, please try very hard to follow his logic. Be patient with Dave, he just a “reasonable” leftist loon!

“Undocumented immigrants aren’t necessarily the poor refuse of the world.

Mexico is hardly an impoverished nation overall. They have a higher GDP per capita and higher wages than most nations and a relatively low cost of living. The average wage is higher than anywhere else in South and Central America, including fairly prosperous nations like Brazil. Real poor people can’t afford to travel to another country to earn better wages – they’re too downtrodden. Mexicans can come here because they have the resources and skills to make it practical and worthwhile. What’s more, Mexicans like the life they have in Mexico. A peculiar survey conducted in 2004 determined that Mexico is the second ‘happiest’ country in the world in terms of how satisfied their population is with the life they have. The US ranked 15th.”

Now for real enjoyment, please do go to visit the “peculiar” happiness survey conducted by the University of Michigan. Note: Mexico ranks 2nd in the list of Happiest Countries in the World. We can tell you why. They are all moving to America!!!

“The University of Michigan’s World Values Surveys (WVS) has compiled data on the happiest countries in the world for over twenty years. Their results are considered the most authoritative by happiness researchers.”

And oh by the way, have you ever met or even heard of a happiness researcher? I bet you can find them all in that very high region called “La La Land” (aka: University of Michigan).
